Last Friday was a day of excitement for one of Clyde’s top female runners. Senior Olivia Hammons signed scholarship papers insuring her opportunities to not only further her education but also to run cross country for Cleveland Sate University.

Olivia has enjoyed her high school years to the fullest. During her senior year she has been not only a stellar student, but she has been involved. She’s vice-president of ‘Building Communities Together’ and a member of the key club, art club, science club, varsity C and cheerleading.

At Cleveland State she will major in biochemistry which will lead her to a promising career path as an anesthesiologist.
